Only a few days had past since Ben and his Pokemon had arrived in Seventh City. Being a Pokemon Trainer, spending lots of time walking through cities and wilderness was almost second nature to him. He had developed a great sense of direction and an even better sense of spatial awareness. This night was no different from any other nocturnal hunt, only this time he didn't have to worry about Pokemon or Team Rocket ambushes. Though the words told to him still felt a bit unnerving. "There will be other varied champions from different universes who will come to contend with you." Ben pondered still, "Other champions? Different universes? Are they trainers too? If they are what kind of Pokemon do they have?" This world was already a mystery enough to him. No Pokemon, just various animals who have nearly no intelligence as compared to Pokemon or people, though capture and pets were still present, just not in the same way. "Maybe in these other worlds they don't need Pokemon to get through their lives." The thought seemed so foreign. Ben's Pokemon were practically an extension of himself, not something he could do without for more than a day at a time. It wasn't long until a store window caught his eye. It was a jewelery store. Gold, silver, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and other precious metals and stones were displayed behind a barricaded glass window. "Lets see if what I need is here. Banette help me out." Ben pulled a Pokeball from his belt and out popped his rag doll-ish ghost companion. "See if anything inside seems different from the rest." Banette nodded and spoke its name to reply in agreement. It phased through the window and the bars that barricaded the store. He looked through different jewelry eying most of them suspiciously. "Moments like these, I wish I had a Sableye. It would know exactly what to look for." Banette heard his muttering and kicked a necklace at the window. This set off a loud alarm. "BANETTE LETS GO!" Banette phased back through the window and followed Ben as they ran from the building and it wasn't long until sirens approached the area. "Banette get us out of here with Shadow Sneak." Banette closed in on Ben and pulled him through the shadows becoming invisible until they were on the other side of the city block. "Good now we are too far away to be associated with that. Sorry about the Sableye stuff." Banette sighed and shook his head, still clearly not happy with the remarks, but forgiving.

They had just appeared...somewhat. She still could smell them. The fur stood up at the nape of her neck and let out a low growl. Maribel was thrown here only a few minuets ago and didn't know what to expect. Her instincts were screaming at her to fight, was it the place or was it from her life constantly being in danger. *look big look scary* she thought stepping in to the light of the ally. Mirabel was the form of a large artic wolf, easily being eye level with the man and her head lowered. Low aggressive growls came from her curled up lips. Her eyes glowed harshly in the florecent lamps. She could see them now. It was a man and a creature. He creature was all black with a pair of glowing eyes. It instantly filled Mirabel with fear. Fight or flight time, she fought. *kill it before it kills you* she let out a sort of warning bark befor bolting at the black shaddow detemened to take it in her jaws and shake it to bits.

Banette and Ben quickly jumped to the right to avoid being harmed by the creature. "What the hell is that? A Pokemon?" Banette even had a slight look of fear in it's eyes. Ben pulled his Pokedex from his pocket and pointed it toward the creature. "No Pokedex entries found." "Okay, so its not a Pokemon. This must be from this universe or one of the champions from another. Either way this thing looks tough." Ben pointed a Pokeball at Banette. "Return." A red beam shot toward Banette and it vanished into it's Pokeball. Another Pokeball was brought forward as Ben stood back up. "Swampert go!" He threw the ball and out popped his large blue frog. It was still quite smaller than the beast. "Swampert use Hammer Arm!" Swampert ran toward the creature and stood on it's hind legs and quickly brought it's fist down at the creature.

The creatures arm glowed like lighting. The sounding impact was that of thunder. She could swear she felt bones crack under her thick hide and let out a scream. Mirabel didn't know if it sounded human or beast and didn't much care at the moment. She began to realize that her strength couldn't help her. In order to survive she had to take flight over fight. Birds were difficult to transform in to, feathers never would come out right and that would make it hard for flight. A bat maybe. She had to get this guy and his creatures away from her. Something bigger for a push and something small for the escape. All while this was going through her brain she stumbled back from the blow, letting out a low growl. Rush, Grow, Smack fly away. Easy Peasy. Right?!
Her glowing heterocromic eyes shifted from the Beast to the Master and back. She bolted towards them once again. Once she closed in half the space she stood on her hind legs and transformed in to a large Kodiak Bear easily reaching ten feet tall. Mirabel swung her large paw in a slapping motion. She just needed to smack the thing enough to knock it out and for her to fly away.Hopefully this guy didn't have anymore monsters on his belt.

Swampert attempted to brace her strike but was nailed like a truck and slammed into the wall, knocking some dust off the top. He staggered to get back up. "SWAMPERT RETURN!" Ben pointed the ball to Swampert and he was returned to the ball. "Okay, so you've got some tricks. And you are strong. Well I have some too. GO AGGRON!" Ben threw another Pokeball and out popped his metallic pokemon. Though it was still just over half the size of the bear. "Mega Evolution!" He held his right fist in the air and it began to glow. Aggron was surrounded in a ball of light and when it stopped Aggron was at least a foot taller and far bulkier. "Alright. Now Aggron show them what a mega can do! Take Down!" Aggron focused on the bear and roared as it charged head first at the bear, slowly at first, but picked up speed quickly and made a slight leap at it when Aggron came into striking range.

A metal rhino was coming at her too fast. She couldn't escape. *fuck fuck FUCK!* She clasped on to its horns as it lept at her pushing her over with it on top. Mirabel began to panic. It had her on her back with her belly exposed and no way to shift to fly out of there. Mirabel began hitting it with her paws hoping to get it off her to escape. She thought about turning in to something bigger. *nothing is bigger! you've never seen a rhino or elephant in person! you cant turn in to that!* Her mind raced as her body fought. *something something. got it!* Merabel pulled her hind legs till they were up on the creatures shoulders. Her claws wrapped around his horns and she shifted back in to a human. Hopefully it would get confused and try to buck her off sending her flying. That always worked with Karaboo...maybe it would work for this thing.

Aggron stood up with her on his head. She was totally visible to Ben. He looked with a sense of fear which subsided quickly when his wit kicked it. "But wait, if thats a person, I doubt she can put up a big enough fight to restrain her. Aggron pin her to the wall." Aggron turned to the side and put Mirabell's back between the wall and his horn. Not putting pressure, just enough to hold her in place. "Good job buddy." He walked up to his Aggron and patted it on the arm. Aggron showed a happy expression for the praise. Ben looked at the girl. "Can you understand me?"

The plan rather obviously did not work. She could not escape and had to admit defeat, and more than likely beg for her life. Her hole body tighted up when the man spoke to her, she slowly turned to him. Mirabel stared at him, trying to mask her shaking. "Don't kill me." she muttered "Don't kill me". This had to have been one of the most unpleasant experiences she ever had in her life. Next to the rabid vampires and losing her virginity.

"Aggron release her." Aggron pulled pressure off of her and let her down from the wall slowly. He backed up to Ben. "You probably wouldn't have killed my Ghost. They are a lot harder to do away with. But you could have killed me. And it seemed like you definitely intended to." He approached slowly. "You certainly are an interesting one. You aren't a Pokemon otherwise I'd have assumed you were a Ditto. Especially with those transformation abilities." Another pokeball was pulled off of his belt. "Gardevoir. Come out." The thin green Pokemon whose body seemed to be dressed in a gown appeared. "Fix her injuries with Heal Pulse. She is of no danger. We will work on Swampert next." Swampert heard his words and came out of the pokeball without the command. He seemed fairly staggered, but relatively okay. Gardevoir spoke its name once and held a hand toward Swampert and Mirabel. Their wounds, both minor and heavy started to vanish. "You can start with your name and what exactly you are."

Mirabel wrapped her arms around her chest in a vain attempt to cover her self. She flinched slightly when the leaf floatie thing with red eyes came close to her. "You would be jumpy too if you were randomly teleported here by a fairie claiming that your father was here some where. Only to be thrown in an ally in an unfamiliar noisy, smelly, place to be ambushed by a guy and a gray smiling thing that appeared out of nowhere." she said this in a defensive manner. She cautiously eyed the other monsters and looked at the man. "I'm Mirabel and I'm a thing called a shiftier. What are you?"

Ben held a Pokeball to Aggron. "Return." A beam brought the Pokemon back to it's ball. "I am Ben. I am a Pokemon Trainer. And these are my Pokemon. And for the record we didn't ambush you. We were trying to escape police while looking for probably the same thing you were considering you were brought here the same way we were. Banette can move through walls and shadows and set off an alarm to a jewelry shop looking for the artifact fragments." The healing was done and Ben returned his Swampert to it's Pokeball, but left Gardevoir as if to protect him. "In your world I assume you don't have creatures like my Pokemon. But a word of warning. They shouldn't be taken lightly in case you encounter another like me. I may not possess much power alone, but I always have a team at my belt." He moved his jacket exposing six of the same Red and White colored balls attached to his belt. "You've only seen a small part of their power."

Maribel watched as the monsters dissipated in a flash of light. "Ok fair enough. i wont attack you then." she held on of her hands up in a three fingered promise like a boy scout while her other arm and hand hid her chest. "And if you meet anyone from my world watch out. They wont be as easy. Especially the Vampires and Fairies, if you see those run as fast and as far as possible. One will eat you and the other will fry you." She listened to him talk about items. treasures that he was looking for. "well are you looking for a person? the fairie said i could find him here." the cold of night made her shake "you wouldn't have extra clothing would you? i packed a trunk but it didn't appear here with me"

"Ah so there are things more dangerous than you? A trainer lives for better challenges." Ben seemed fired up, "Gardevoir. Let me access my things." Gardevoir started glowing purple as a small hole opened up on the ground and a trunk popped out. "Mine managed to make it in. Strange. At least I have Gardevoir for safe keeping." Ben reached into the trunk and grabbed a shirt and pair of sweat pants. He tossed the navy blue garments to her. The trunk vanished into the hole Gardevoir created and then closed. "Maybe if you get a hand on one of the artifact fragments you could get your trunk from the other dimension. I'm not sure how exactly they work, but they become what you desire from what that thing told me. By the way. What is a vampire? I know what fairies are. We have Fairy Pokemon from where I come from."

Mirabel caught the blue lumps of clothing and quickly started putting them on. "Artifacts huh." She mumbled thinking of her father mysteriously disappearing one night. "Well a vampire in my world are dangerous creatures that live off blood. They fry in daylight thankfully. They can run faster than anythung I've ever seen. Some of them can fly. they are all stronger than anything else in my world. They use thier blood as a highly addictive drug. They're nasty buggars, and a group of mean ones togeather are the worst" letting him know the gyst of it. "It's your funeral" she shrugged at his challenge quote. The clothing was much too long for her limbs and the waist band was too tight around her hips. Mirabel began to roll up her sleeves. "What about your world? Anything I shoud watch out for?"

"Legendaries." Ben said simply. "Most people don't have to worry. But where I come from there are Pokemon whose origins are from the beginning of time and space, light and darkness, land and sea, and life and death. Those are the most coveted and most dangerous. There are sometimes only one of each of those Pokemon to exist. Control enough of those and you can rule the world. Except recently there has been a great equalizer. Just like when you saw my Aggron change its form. It is Mega Evolution. It gives average Pokemon the ability to stand up to the legends. I am in search of the stones that unlock these traits."

"Oh great monsters that can control the very fabric of reality its self. Lovely" she said in a dry scarcastic manner. Mirabel looked at his ring. " the rainbow glow light that turned the metal rhino in to a diffrent metal rhino?" She finished rolling up the sleeves and bent over to roll up the pant legs. "Well I'll let you know if I see any rainbow rocks. If that's what your looking for." She stretched upwards and landed in a shrug. A few moments later a number of knives fell from the sky shortly followed by a dark blue wooden trunk. The think crashed and splintered scattering mirabel's clothes all over the ally way. "At least I know where my trunk is..."

Ben was a little shocked by the sudden drop of everything. "Well its the same Aggron. Just more powerful. He is meant to shrug off powerful attacks easier." Gardevoir began eying Mirabel's belongings. "So tell me," Ben said, "Do things normally drop out of the sky where you come from?" He eyed above. They were in an alley with buildings nearby. "Could someone have thrown it off the roof? Because I appeared with all of my stuff."

It nearly gave Mirabel a panic attack. "No not unless they were dropped. But I dropped from the sky. Not far but enough to scare me" she looked up at the empty night sky with the lights of the buildings filling in for stars. "Maybe it's because I was at a higher altitude in my world?" She tried to figure it out but the michanics of this world made little sence to her. She began to pull all of her things back in to the busted box. "It looks like the hindges and lock busted out but the rest will Hold"
